When I first became a fan of Molly and her Danger Dolls, it was about Seven years ago. I loved her Masked Americana character. To me, she was a female equivalent of Hulk Hogan. I LOVED the idea of this dynamic Female crime fighter, and her faithful partner, professional fighters, reality TV stars, and crime fighters. VERY cool concept to me. I begged Molly , please, could I borrow her characters for my comics.
Seven Years, and now 11 books later, Masked Americana has been a part of Jays Fight Club. If it was up to ME…she’d be here indefinitely.

It’s not up to me.

What I DIDN’T know, when I came across the character, was that Molly had already killed her off. I found this out, when I took the time to read Molly’s stories, on her Dangerdoll.net site. In fact, She told me she had MEANT to kill her off again, in her official comics, in Dark Domminatrix one. MY fandom, made her change her mind. She kept MA around a little longer, as a favor to me. Which I REALLY appreciated.THATS a friend, isnt it? She put off killing HER character, and slowed DOWN her PLANNED stories for ChickFighter, as a favor to ME. I was choked up, and really grateful.

It was an extreme honor to me, that Molly wanted me to write this arc, with Masked Americana Leaving us. It was HARD to write, because I am fond of the character, but also an honor to write, because I am grateful that another creator, who I am a fan of, likes my work enough, to request that I write her character being killed off. As the story arc progressed, Molly even offered input. The character Donna,(Issue 10…the Slave who dressed like MA) who was killed fighting Mylinda Thang in front of Sleeker and The Dark Domme, was Molly’s idea.

I want to thank Molly Whipple, for allowing me to use her Masked Americana Character for so long, thanks to Molly, also, for being a great internet friend, and for wanting me to do this special story, saying goodbye to her awesome Masked Americana. She died as she lived. A hero, trying to save others. An entire county, population 300,000, was at stake.

Remember…this is comics. They are meant to be fun. Fantasy. Entertainment. In comics, all things are possible.Maybe one day, in her great comics, Molly will bring her Masked Americana back.
